We need to deciede our target audeince so we can focus our trailer towards this audience. Our target is a bit of an Art house audience, being anyone who is a fan of online forums and blogs such as 4chan who will know who the Slenderman is, however the film will not just appeal to them but to horror fans as a general as well as it will follow conventions and cliches of the genre they enjoy. The main audience that enjoy horror films a 16 - 34 year olds with about 60% of them being male and 40% being female. Knowing this we selectively tailor the film to the likes of this target audience.
